The electric current supply network is adapted for use in a road vehicle. It has several voltage sources (6) in parallel which may include an accumulator battery and a fuel cell. The voltage sources are all connected to a voltage converter (8). The voltage converter may reduce the voltage by controlled phase chopping of alternating current which may then be rectified. The input voltage may be e.g. 12 V. The voltage converter connected is connected to output lines (10,12) connected to conductor rails (4,14) each connected to a number of individual current users (2,16).
