A cylindrical crank case (1) has a main channel designed as a longitudinal oil channel (2) which is in flow-connection with further oil channels (4.1) and the screw pipes (6.1,6.2) for the cylinder-head screws. The oil channels (4.1) at least for supply of the crank-shaft bearings discharge into the screw pipes geodetically above the longitudinal oil channel (2).
