A connecting element has clamping body provided with an axial boring for the screw element and located in a recess of the second component and used for limiting the insertion depth via a shoulder or collar. At least two opposite facing 'bulges' (8) each facing outwards are provided, in which transversely to theses 'bulges' (8) the collar as well as the clamping body (6) are made slotted over at least the part-zone 'I' in the central longitudinal plane (9), at least in the upper part-zone 'I' of the clamping body (6).
