A method for producing a photonic three-dimensional structure, which comprises producing, by the stereo LASER method, a three-dimensional formed article (4) having a cavity (18) with an uncured light-curable resin material (10) and a plurality of laminated cured resin layers (17) comprising a cured product of the light-curable resin material (10), inserting an inorganic article (2) into a concave portion (20) accounting for at least a part of the cavity (18) with the light-curable resin material (10) remaining uncured, on the course of this stereo LASER process before the closure of the cavity (18) at the step of the formation of the concave portion (20), and thermally curing the uncured light-curable resin material (10) in the cavity (18) and allowing it to adhere to the inorganic article (2). The above method allows the production of a photonic three-dimensional structure (1) having a plurality of inorganic articles (2) being accurately arranged on the desired periodical positions, with good efficiency.
