DISPLAY DEVICE AND ITS CONTROL METHOD, ESPECIALLY CONTROLLING TO TURN ON /OFF A PIXEL ON THE BIAS OF DISPLAY TIME OF THE IMAGE

PURPOSE: A display device and its control method are provided, which turn on/off a control target pixel when the same image is displayed on a screen for a long time. CONSTITUTION: A display device includes a panel(9) displaying images and a scaler chip(5) providing a horizontal synchronous signal and a vertical synchronous signal to a panel driving unit(7) and also providing a data enable signal. A timer measures time. A pixel controller(13) turns on/off the control target pixel by judging the position of the control target pixel. And a control unit(11) controls the pixel controller in order to start turning on/off the control target pixel when the same image is displayed on the panel for a fixed time measured by the timer.
