<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the drag of a brake shoe from occurring due to defective return in releasing braking in a drum brake having a shoe drive cam capable of controlling braking force according to brake force. <P>SOLUTION: In this drum brake device having the shoe drive cam mechanically controlling the braking force according to the brake force acting on an anchor pin from the brake shoe, a cam plate 76 rotatably supported on the anchor pin 10 and a lever plate 30 receiving a shoe operating force from an operating force generating means 6 are connected rotatably to each other through a pair of cam pins 21 and 23 in contact with the brake shoes 3 and 4 so that the transmission mechanism of an input system formed of the lever plate 30 and the pair of cam pins 21 and 23 is brought into the state of being separated from the transmission mechanism of a control system formed of the pair of cam pins 21 and 23 and the cam plate 76 in which direct transmission of power is not performed therebetween. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
