PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder for a small acoustic element which can be fixed to a case provided with sound holes in the side face without increasing the thickness of a portable telephone conversation device significantly. SOLUTION: The inventive microphone holder 13 has a tubular section 14 for holding the outer circumferential surface of the small acoustic element. The tubular section 14 is provided with an inward flange 16 of an annular rubber-like elastic body engaging with the punching surface of the small acoustic element. Furthermore, groove-like sound holes 14b and 16a having one end opening to the inner circumferential surface 16b of the inward flange 16 and the other end opening to the outer circumferential surface of the tubular section 14 are provided to communicate with both the punching surface of the small acoustic element and a sound hole made in the side face of the case.
