PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a heat exchanger apparatus to reduce the outer diameter dimension of a combustion chamber of a burner and to ensure the high heat output of the burner in addition to reducing a noise level during the operation of the burner and adjusting technical cost. SOLUTION: This heat exchanger apparatus for a gas heating type apparatus for heat treatment of food is provided with a fan 6 for forcibly circulating a treatment medium, a gas burner 18, and a heat exchange tube 21 surrounding the fan. The burner 18 is connected only to a gas and combustion air mixing apparatus 17 for adjusting a mixture of gas and air required for combustion. The mixing apparatus 17 is provided with an adjusting apparatus for adjusting a 100% premixed gas-air mixture, and a blower. The blower supplies the burner 18 with the gas-air mixture which is burnt and then supplied under pressure to the heat exchange tube 21 airtightly connected to the burner.
