PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toroidal continously variable transmission which can secure power transmitting efficiency, control stability, and durability of the transmission, and can compact the transmission, and can improve the degree of freedom of design. SOLUTION: The toroidal continuously variable transmission comprises an input shaft 1, input disks 2A, 2B, output disks 3A, 3B, power rollers 11, trunnions 15, driving units 32 for shifting the trunnions 15 in the direction of the axes O2 of pivot axes 14, and a pair of yokes 34, 35. The yokes 34, 35 are swingably supported by means of yoke supporting members 68A, 70, respectively. The yoke supporting member 70 for supporting at least one yoke 34 of a pair of the yokes 34, 35 is attached to a fixing portion 50A arranged to the position deviated from a virtual symmetry plane M including a central axis O1 and a swing axis O3.
