POLYCHLOROPRENE LATEX COMPOSITION, ADHESIVE, COATING MATERIAL AND PRODUCTION METHOD FOR THE SAME COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polychloroprene latex composition capable of solving the following problems: though it is previously known that a nonionic polychloroprene latex using a PVA as an emulsifying/dispersing agent has a good chemical and mechanical stability, the latex involves such problems that it is limited in a method of coating because of having a high viscosity and is difficult in heightening a solid content. SOLUTION: The polychloroprene latex composition having a low viscosity and capable of heightening a solid content, is obtained by emulsion polymerization of chloroprene alone or it with copolymerizable monomers in the presence of a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether having a 14-19 HLB value and a polyvinyl alcohol.
