PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous foamable composition which has good foam stability, and further has the good shape retainability, dust resistance, and adhesiveness of dried foamed product to substrate such as wood. SOLUTION: This aqueous foamable composition is characterized by sealing (A) an aqueous solution or aqueous dispersion of a 35:65 to 95:5 mass ratio polymer mixture comprising (P1) one or more easily film-forming polymers whose aqueous solution or aqueous dispersion has the lowest film-forming temperature of≤5°C, when a film-forming auxiliary is not added, and (P2) one or more slightly film-forming polymers whose aqueous solution or aqueous dispersion has the lowest film-forming temperature of≥20°C, when a film-forming auxiliary is not added, (B) a foam stabilizer comprising a 10 to 30C fatty acid amine salt and/or ammonium salt, and (C) a propellant as essential components in a pressure-resistant container.
