PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water draining structure of an opening/closing member capable of draining away the water having intruded into a panel space of the opening/closing member from an outer handle mounting part, a key cylinder mounting part, and from an air vent hole etc. certainly to outside a vehicle using a comparatively simple constitution. SOLUTION: The water draining structure of a tail gate 1 to open and close the opening at the rear of a vehicle body has such a constitution that at least the peripheral edges of an inner panel 10 and an outer panel 20 are joined together, wherein a water receptacle 41 to receive the water having intruded from outside through openings 23 and 13 is provided in a place inside of the outer panel and mating with the neighborhood of the handle opening 23 in the outer panel. At the bottom of the panel space S1, a collecting rib 16 is installed having a valley part and extending across the vehicle width, while a water guide conduit to guide the water from the water receptacle to the collecting rib is formed in the panel space.
