PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet scrubber for removing particles contained in exhaust gas therefrom. SOLUTION: The wet scrubber, wherein paint particles are removed from exhaust gas by trapping the said particles in water, has (a) an accelerating cone having an inlet receiving the exhaust gas and water used for trapping the paint particles and an exit, (b) a mixing chamber, arranged under the exit and connected to it, mixing the accelerated exhaust gas with water, (c) a vortex flow chamber, arranged adjacent to the mixing chamber and connected to it, containing a vortex rotational mix of the exhaust gas and water in the said wet scrubber, and (d) an exhaust opening of air and water.
