DATA DISTRIBUTION METHOD AND DEVICE

Computers PC of n stations are connected to a concentrator or a communication network having the switching function, thereby constituting a network configuration. Each PC has a storage device in which data as an object of mutual correlation operation is stored. The data in each PC can be divided into n or more partial data. For each PC, partial data in charge of performing mutual correlation operation is decided. Furthermore, in PC connected in such a manner that data can be transmitted via the concentrator or the communication network, mutually between two PC connected, a step of transmitting partial data handled by the PC to the partner PC connected is repeated. Thus, it is possible to effectively distribute data as an object of mutual correlation operation stored in a plurality of PC storage devices into each PC.
