The method involves feeding a solar thermally heated heat carrying medium to a steam turbine at a defined temperature working point. The heat carrying medium, or a working medium heated by it, is heated by solar heating to a temperature corresponding to a temperature of the medium above the temperature working point of the steam turbine and used to charge a heat store connected before the steam turbine. An independent claim is also included for the following: (a) a solar-thermal power station.
