PURPOSE: To provide a method and apparatus for generating high purity oxygen simply and conveniently using an adsorbent, a method for highly concentrating zeolite to obtain oxygen of high purity, and an adsorption machine into which zeolite is highly concentrated to produce oxygen of high purity. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus(10) for generating oxygen using zeolite comprises a compressor(20) for sucking in an external air; a first direction control valve(40) operated such that air flown in from the compressor is alternately supplied in two directions; two adsorption machines(50,60) in which highly concentrated zeolite is installed, into which air passing through the first direction control valve is alternately flown, and from which oxygen of high purity is alternately discharged; an orifice(70) installed on a passageway through which oxygen discharged from the adsorption machine is sent to an other adsorption machine from which oxygen is not discharged; and a second direction control valve(80) for discharging oxygen of high purity to the outside by opening a passageway connected to an adsorption machine from which oxygen is discharged in the two adsorption machines and closing a passageway connected to the other adsorption machine.
