<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive a current driven type pixel circuit with inputted digital video data. <P>SOLUTION: This display device is so configured that a 4-bit digital video signal is inputted to a digital video line. In this display device, the digital video signal is introduced in a current generating circuit 52 of a corresponding column according to the inputted digital video signal. Here, the current generating circuit 52 converts the digital video signal into a current signal and supplies it to a corresponding pixel circuit 50. Each current generating circuit 52 has an output transistor outputting a current corresponding to the digital video signal and also has a compensating circuit for compensating variance in threshold of the output transistor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
