NETWORK CONSTITUTION CONTROL SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conceal a redundant constitution and to identify it logically as one network or host without depending on hardware or driver software in a network system wherein a network or a host is made redundant. SOLUTION: An address information transmitting means 14 of a network constitution control part 13 transmits address information to the other host periodically through multi-address communications. An address information receiving means 15 receives the address information. A path monitoring switching means 16 diagnoses a network path from the received address information, acquires an address of a host which is a communication target, uses the above address to set information of routing to a virtual network IF and switches the path to a normal network at all times. A highly reliable network system can be constructed without requiring hardware such as IF for supporting redundancy or any driver of an OS and without changing a communication attribute such as a communication IF or an IP address of an application.
