TEMPLATE FOR POSITIONING IMAGE PICKUP DEVICE, TEMPLATE UNIT, AND MEDIUM TRUTH/FALSE DISCRIMINATING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus in which truth/false can be surely discriminated by quickly specifying a position to be a truth/false discriminating element provided on a medium such as a license. SOLUTION: A template 21a is provided for a medium 5 having a plurality of truth/false discriminating elements and on the template 21a, an observation hole 210 is formed in a position where the truth/false discriminating element is present, on the medium 5. A window 30 of an image pickup device 3 is fitted with the observation hole 210, and a fixing projection 31 of the image pickup device 3 is positioned in a fixing hole 211 so as not to be rotated, thereby quickly specifying a plurality of image pickup positions by a simple configuration and surely discriminating the truth/false of that portion.
