PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surveillance camera system which enables a circuit constitution to be simplified and facilitates the search of surveillance images of various parts of the world. SOLUTION: In response to a request for an image, a terminal 16 notifies a user of an identifier of a camera 14 which has photographed the image, a photographing time of the image, and an identifier of a tome zone which the terminal belongs to. The photographing time is described by the standard time of the time zone which the terminal 16 belongs to. When being notified, a server 12 first calculates the time difference between the standard time of the time zone which the camera 14 belongs to and that of the time zone which the terminal belongs to. Time information notified by the terminal 16 is converted to time information described by the standard time of the time zone which the camera 14 belongs to.
