PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speech recording system wherein voice data can easily be diverted for other applications and can easily be searched. SOLUTION: The system is provided with a phone terminal 1 and an operator terminal 2 that is connected to the phone terminal 1, records a speech via the phone terminal 1 to acquire the recording as voice data, and receives the outline of the speech as character data. Related data are given to the voice data and the character data and thereafter the resulting data are stored in a voice database server 4 and a speech contents database server 5.
