PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wax composition intended for reducing draggings caused by the lack in coating film lubrication in molding working operation such as press molding, and to provide a coated aluminum plate for molding working operation using the wax composition. SOLUTION: The wax composition is obtained by heating a wax mixture comprising carnauba wax and polyethylene wax at a temperature higher than the melting point of the polyethylene wax but not higher than 300°C and agitating the resultant melt, wherein, particularly, the ratio of the carnauba wax to the polyethylene wax is such that the carnauba wax accounts for 10-90 mass% of the total wax. The highly dragging-proof coated aluminum plate for molding working operation is obtained by adding the wax composition to a resin coating material followed by coating at least one side of an aluminum plate or aluminum alloy plate with the resultant coating material.
