PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that it is difficult to attain a preferable image quality under each print conditions by simply adding a colorless ink when printing is performed by adding a colorless ink to a color ink. SOLUTION: In the printer capable of recording an image on a print medium with a color ink containing a coloring agent and a colorless ink containing no coloring agent according to a plurality of print conditions, quantity of each ink being recorded on the print medium is determined while differentiating a specified ratio depending on the print conditions when the quantity of colorless ink is set at the specified ratio to a specified reference and printed on the print medium together with the color ink, and then the printer is driven to form an image with the quantity of ink thus determined.
