PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier capable of increasing the work carrying speed. SOLUTION: While a drive unit 28 protruding on a tip of a carrying arm 27 moves from the upstream side to the downstream side by a distance d, a reciprocating stand 32 moves by the same distance d via a pair of guide plates 34, and a carrying stand 33 moves by the distance of twice the distance d, i.e., by a distance of 2d. As a result, the carrying stand 33 moves on the reciprocating stand 32 from the upstream side to the downstream side at a speed twice the speed of the reciprocating stand 32. The carrying stand 33 moves similarly from the downstream side to the upstream side. Therefore, the carrying stand 33 is reciprocated on the reciprocating stand 32 in the right and left directions at a speed twice the speed of the reciprocating stand 32, i.e., at the double speed. Thus, the carrying speed of a work 40 can be increased, and the work 40 placed on the carrying stand 33 can be rapidly supplied to a press.
