PURPOSE: A flat display device is provided to prevent separation of a flat display panel from a mold frame for containing the flat display panel, thereby improving assembling performance of the flat display device by forming a fixing element for fixing the flat display panel on the mold frame. CONSTITUTION: A mold frame(150) contains a flat display panel(140) for displaying an image. The mold frame has an inside lateral surface, an outside lateral surface opposed to the inside lateral surface, a top surface connecting the inside lateral surface and the outside lateral surface, and a bottom surface opposed to the top surface. Fixing elements(150a) of cramp type are formed at four vertexes on the mold frame to cover the edges of the flat display panel. Each of the fixing elements includes a protrusion, wherein the protrusion has the first incline surface, a vertical surface connected to the first incline surface and paralleled with the outside lateral surface, and the second incline surface connecting the vertical surface and the top surface of the mold frame.
