PURPOSE: Provided is a nutrient solution in which the content of silicon and the concentration of strong alkaline salts are increased yielding maximum effect as anti-viral, bactericidal and deodoration agents. CONSTITUTION: The nutrient solution is prepared by dissolving sodium silicate and potassium hydroxide into appropriate amount of water at the temperature 60-80 deg.C, maturing it for 2-5 minutes and adding 1-2% of glycerine as stabilizing agent. Specifically, the nutrient solution is prepared by (a) preparing the first solution by adding 40g of NaSiO3 and 20g of H2O, and dissolving the resultant slowly by heating it up to 40 deg.C at the beginning and then up to the temperatures in the range of from 60 to 80 deg.C; (b) preparing the second solution by adding slowly 10g of HNO3 in 0.1N and 35g of KOH into 20g of water, and dissolving the resultant slowly by heating it up to 40 deg.C at the beginning and then up to the temperatures in the range of from 60 to 80 deg.C; (c) mixing the first and second solution and adding 0.4g of glycerine.
