<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing device for realizing data communication requiring a time continuity processing with less delay, although a general-purpose peripheral device interface is used. <P>SOLUTION: When a frequency of an internal synchronization signal S<SB>int</SB>is low compared to a frequency of a references synchronization signal S<SB>ref</SB>, dummy data is transferred to a PC card 25 until a transmit FIFO buffer 29 is fully filled up with data to be transmitted. When the frequency of the internal synchronization signal S<SB>int</SB>is high compared to the frequency of the references synchronization signal S<SB>ref</SB>, all of data for transmission in the transmit FIFO buffer 29 is once discarded, and data for transmission newly written from a compression expansion unit 13 is transferred to the PC card 25. Thereby, data communication requiring time continuity processing can be provided with less delay, even using a general-purpose peripheral device interface which does not synchronize the references synchronization signal S<SB>ref</SB>with the internal synchronization signal S<SB>int</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
