<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide Fe and Fe-Ni based fine powder, and to provide an electronic component obtained by using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The Fe and Fe-Ni based fine powder are obtained in such a manner that powder prepared by adding 0.05 to 5 mass% S to Fe or Fe-Ni based metal is produced by a gas atomizing method, and thereafter, the powder is pulverized in an inert atmosphere. Further, the electronic component is obtained by using the Fe and Fe-Ni based fine powder. By the invention, the fine powder high in cleanliness can easily be produced by the combination of the gas atomizing method and the pulverizing stage, and further, the electronic component using the powder having excellent high frequency properties can be obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
