<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing utensil which maintains a comfortable grasping feel for a long time by effectively preventing an outer enclosure from turning over without pressing the outer enclosure into contact with members between the latter. <P>SOLUTION: This writing utensil 10 comprises a barrel 20, a near cylindrical outer enclosure 30 covering the grasping part of the barrel 20 and a fixing member 40 which fixes the end part of the outer enclosure 30 between the barrel 20 and the fixing member 40. At the end part of the outer enclosure 30, a thick-walled part 31 which is located at a far position side and comparatively thicker in cross section and a thin-walled part 34 which is located at a near position side to the thick-walled part 31 and comparatively thinner in cross section, are formed. In a space where the end part of the outer enclosure 30 is positioned between the barrel 20 and the fixing member 40, a wide width part 50 which is a gap with a comparatively wider cross section located at the thick-walled part 31 and a narrow width part 55 which is a gap with a comparatively narrower cross section located at the thin-walled part 34, are formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
