PHOSPHORUS RECOVERING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TREATING PHOSPHORUS-CONTAINING ORGANIC WASTEWATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphorus recovering apparatus capable of efficiently removing phosphorus and capable of ensuring treated water of good quality.

SOLUTION: Apatite crystals are suspended in the first mixing part 21 of a first reaction tank 6 and the second mixing part 22 of a second reaction tank 7 as a crystallization material to perform crystallization reaction. The apatite crystals are subjected to solid-liquid separation in the first separation part 23 of the first reaction tank 6 and the second separation part 24 of the second reaction tank 7. The phosphorus-containing organic wastewater treated in the first reaction tank 6 is allowed to flow in the second reaction tank 7 while the crystallite of apatite crystals precipitated in the second reaction tank 7 is returned to the first reaction tank 6 to be recovered from the first reaction tank 6. Phosphorus can be sufficiently removed from the phosphorus-containing organic wastewater. The quality of the treated water, from which the crystallite of apatite crystals is recovered, can be ensured better.
