PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system/method for a device for mechanism, allowing customization without unfairness to the internal state of the device for mechanism for only an appropriate demandant. SOLUTION: The control system for the device for mechanism comprises: a control information request means 302 requesting control information to an information processor 2; an identification information database 21 previously registering internal identification information B inherent to an instrument 1 in the information processor 2; an inquiry means 24 inquiring whether or not the equipment identification information is registered on the identification information database 21 in the information processor 2; a response means 25 taking out the internal identification information from the identification information database 21 when registration is present and making a response accompanied by the control information from the information processor 2; a collation means 304 collating whether or not the internal identification information reflected to the control information C coincides with the internal identification information written into the device for the instrument 1: and a state control means 305 controlling the internal state information when the collation is true.
