PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce memory utilization and the power consumption of multi-functional electronic equipment(for example, portable telephone) whose power consumption and realized space are limited. SOLUTION: Whether or not the operand of an instruction to realize a function contains unresolved reference is discriminated, and an unresolved instruction is replaced with a predetermined instruction containing an operand associated with a reference resolution code. When an instruction containing a replacement instruction with which the previous instruction is replaced is received, an operand to identify a reference code owned by the replacement instruction is used to execute reference code resolution.
