PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a worked end face inspection apparatus which can surely judge the quality of the tip shape of an optical fiber by a simple method inexpensively, by introducing light into the optical fiber to express the intensity distribution of the light outgoing from the tip of the optical fiber with a graph. SOLUTION: A photoelectric transducing device 100 is constituted by being provided with a base mount 1 constituted of a solid structure, of which the flatness is formed with prescribed precision, an XY-stage 2 moved to be freely advanced and retracted X-axis- or Y-axis-directionally, an arm 3 raised vertically with respect to an upper face of the XY-stage 2, a ferrule holder 5 for fixing a ferrule for holding the optical fiber, an X-stage 6 moving to be freely advanced and retracted X-axis-directionally, an arm 7 raised vertically with respect to an upper face of the X-stage 6, a slit holder 8 for holding a slit, an L-shaped metal 9 raised vertically with respect to an upper face of the base mount 1, a photoreception part attaching plate 10 fixed to the L-shaped metal 9 and raised vertically with respect to the upper face of the base mount 1, and a PD (passive diode) photoreception part 12 fixed to a face opposed to the slit holder 8 via a styrol 11.
