<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove a different kind of plastic contained in polyester waste out of a process, on the occasion of recovering an effective constituent of polyester from the polyester waste that contains a polyethylene terephthalate as the main constituent. <P>SOLUTION: The polyester waste constituted mainly of a polyalkylene terephthalate and containing a different kind of plastic other than the polyalkylene terephthalate is depolymerized by an alkylene glycol. Then, the different kind of plastic having a specific gravity smaller than a depolymerizing reaction liquid is made to float in the vicinity of the surface of the liquid and the different kind of plastic of the low specific gravity is accumulated at a specified place of a depolymerizing reaction tank and then extracted collectively outside the tank. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
