DEVICE FOR TREATMENT OF ORGANIC WASTE WATER, AND TREATMENT METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To purify waste water by biochemical treatment using a group of aerobic microorganisms while perfectly preventing the generation of lather even when organic waste water contains a foamable liquid such as a synthetic detergent and a surfactant.

SOLUTION: At least two or more organic waste water treatment tanks 4A and 4B provided with contact materials 3 on which a group of aerobic microorganisms are supported are installed. Each of the organic waste water treatment tank 4A and 4B is provided with a means 5A to transfer the waste water to other organic waste water treatment tanks and a means 5B to transfer the waste water from other organic waste water treatment tanks. Thus organic waste water 2 is alternately transferred between the two treatment tanks 4A and 4B, by which transfer the group of the microorganisms is exposed to air so as to receive oxygen.
