TRAVELING SUPPORTING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling supporting device for a vehicle enabling a steering support with natural feeling for a driver. SOLUTION: This traveling supporting device performs the steering support to have a target steering angle by making a traveling distance correspond to the target steering angle (turning curvature). The traveling distance is integrated in an advancing direction and the maximum value (peak value) is stored. By performing the steering support to have steering amount corresponding to not the actual traveling distance but the peak value, rolling of the target steering amount is prevented when the advancing direction of the vehicle is suddenly reversed during the support.
