PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that when recording is performed on a disk in which the other file systems exists, the data controlled by the other file system is overwritten. SOLUTION: When a recording medium is formatted in a bridge file system corresponding to both of a file system for AV and the other file system, a stream indicating the existence of other file systems is recorded as the data for first play. Also, When the data controlled by the file system being different from the file system for AV, a stream indicating the existence of the other file systems is reproduced as the data for first play.
