PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic bulletin board system which enables neighboring users to easily conduct posting/browsing. SOLUTION: When a portable terminal 1 sends a login request to a display terminal 2 via a close range communication path 6 in a close range communication zone of the display terminal 2, the display terminal 2 returns an URL of an electronic bulletin board program to the portable terminal 1. When the portable terminal 1 accesses the URL via a portable network 4 and a network, and sends information for publication to the display terminal, the electronic bulletin board program on the display terminal 2 displays the information for publication on a display as a content of the electronic bulletin board.
