<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rehabilitation method for a sewage access pipe using a cutter capable of cutting the end of a liner pipe protruding into a sewage main pipe, irrespective of the size of the sewage main pipe and without replacing a cutting blade. <P>SOLUTION: The thermoplastic synthetic resin liner pipe having a sealed tip is inserted from a catch basin into a sewerage mounting pipe, and the liner pipe is heated and softened to be expanded by pressure from the inside, whereby the liner pipe is coated on the inner peripheral surface of the sewage access pipe. After the completion of the lining, the rotary cord type cutter is inserted from the catch basin into the liner pipe. The rotary cutter cord type cutter is formed by radially protruding cords each having a blade at the tip thereof from a rotation shaft, and the cutter is operated by rotating the rotation shaft to expand the blades outward by a centrifugal force, bringing the blades into contact with a pipe internal peripheral wall, to thereby cut the linear pipe. Thus a redundant portion at the tip of the liner pipe protruding into the sewage main pipe is cut at a location in the vicinity of the inner peripheral wall of the sewage main pipe. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
