<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper processing device with excellent reliability and productivity and at low costs capable of realizing middle filing and middle folding functions with a compact mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: This paper processing device having a processing means applying a predetermined processing to papers after image formation comprises a staple tray stacking the papers, a jogger fence and a rear end fence aligning a bundle of papers stacked to the stack means, a staple unit filing the bundle of the aligned papers, and a bundle transfer roller arranged between the staple tray and the staple unit and transferring the bundle of the papers loaded on the staple tray to the staple unit side, and a control circuit controlling an action of each part. The control circuit is constituted in a manner that when a center part of the bundle of the papers is filed by the staple unit, after a preceding bundle of papers passes through a pair of the bundle transfer rollers, a transfer path of the bundle of the papers is closed by the pair of the bundle transfer rollers, so that the next paper is received in the staple tray. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
