摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a quantum cipher communication apparatus in which a polarized-wave plane need not be adjusted, a recurrent frequency is freely selected, and besides resources used for a control signal communication path is cut back. <P>SOLUTION: The quantum cipher communication apparatus is equipped with a quantum transmission device 100 installed in the transmitting and receiving side of a quantum transmission path 1, a quantum receiving device 200, and a control signal communication path 3 for intercommunicating control signals containing synchronous signals. The quantum transmission device includes a polarization beam splitter 20, a nonreciprocative element 21 relevant to an optical loop containing a phase modulator 22, a transmission side control means 23 for controlling the phase modulator 22, and a transmission side data processing means 24. Further, the quantum receiving device 200 includes a quantum output means established at a first port of the polarization beam splitter 9, a quantum observation means including the phase modulator 10 provided at a second port of the polarization beam splitter 9, a receiving side control means 17 for controlling the phase modulator 10, and a receiving side data processing means 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
