CLEANING APPARATUS FOR ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTORECEPTOR, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning apparatus which can prevent flaws or sticking of foreign substances on the surface of a photoreceptor and which can keep stable cleaning property for a long time, and to provide an image forming apparatus equipped with the above cleaning apparatus. SOLUTION: The cleaning apparatus for an electrophotographic photoreceptor comprises: a first brush roller disposed in contact with the surface of the electrophotographic photoreceptor; a first collecting member disposed in contact with the first brush roller; a second brush roller which is disposed in contact with the electrophotographic photoreceptor in the downstream side of the rotation direction of the photoreceptor with respect to the first brush roller and which supplies a solid lubricant to the surface of the photoreceptor; and a second collecting member disposed in contact with the second brush roller. The tip force F1(gf) per each brush fiber constituting the first brush roller is 5.0×10-5to 1.5×10-3, and the tip force F2(gf) per each brush fiber constituting the second brush roller is 4.0×10-5to 5.0×10-4.
