PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment for an opening in a plate structured simply and capable of being attached to the opening in a state that it is hard to slip off. SOLUTION: The attachment for the opening includes a cap 1 equipped with a base 4 and a lid 6 rotatable with respect to the base part 4 round a hinge formed in a single piece (hinge part) 5 as a fulcrum. The base 4 is provided on its obverse surface forefront with a stationary grip 8, and two movable grips 10 are formed on the lid 6 side of the base 4. On the rear surface forefront, the lid 6 is provided with two engaging pawls 13, and two gripping operation parts 14 are formed on the base 4 side of the rear surface. When the lid 6 is rotated round the hinge 5 as a fulcrum, the movable grip 10 rotates by being pushed from the rear surface side by the gripping operation part 14, and the engaging pawl 13 can be engaged with the inner edge of the opening 7 in the base 4.
