PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fast and automated ophthalmic lens testing method. SOLUTION: This opathalmic lens testing method comprises steps of: capturing the image of the opathalmic lens, in at least one electromagnetic frequency to partition the image into pixel groups and assign values of the positions and intensities to each pixel; comparing these values of position/intensity between pixels, for example, along a path passing over the lens edge; a step of collecting pixels which share features of the eye lens, to specify pixel sets associated with such properties; and comparing relation between pixels in one set with predefined relation, in order to check whether the opathalmic lens is acceptable.
