摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire performance simulation method capable of obtaining the evaluation result of fuel consumption performance in a comparatively short time and with high precision by adopting simple additional conditions, provide a tire designing method using the simulation method, and provide a manufacturing method for a pneumatic tire to manufacture the tires on the basis of the design value obtained by the tire designing method. SOLUTION: The tire performance simulation method approximates the tire to be evaluated with a tire finite element model 2 and make the static simulation of the fuel consumption performance from the tire finite element model 2 using a finite element method. There are imparted to the simulation: a vertical load F2 from an axis O of a virtual wheel; a camber angleθ2 with respect to the wheel axis O; an external force F3 applied to the tire inner surface equivalent to the virtual inner pressure of the tire; a friction coefficientμto a virtual road surface 7; and the rotation angleθ1 of the wheel axis O.
