PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photo-printer which reduces the cost of a device main body by simplifying the gear mechanism acting the motor drive force for transferring a roll paper on a shutter. SOLUTION: The motor drive force for transferring the roll paper 2 acts on the shutter 6 to move the shutter 6. When an image formed in a yellow heat-sensitive color development layer is fixed, the shutter 6 is positioned above a fixing lamp 5 for yellow to restrict the movement of the shutter 6 with a lock member 7. When the roll paper is pulled into the main body and the rear end part of the image forming region this time is positioned near the tip end of the shutter, the restriction of the movement of the shutter 6 with the lock member 7 is released to move the shutter 6 in synchronization with the roll paper 2.
