PORTABLE COMPUTER SYSTEM INCLUDING MAIN SYSTEM FOR DISPLAYING DATA STORAGE IN DATA STORING PART AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A portable computer system including a main system for displaying data stored in a data storage and a controlling method thereof are provided to process information fast in case of movement by displaying the data of the main system to a sub display part of a sub system and make the sub system perform a web pad function by using a network interface of the main system. CONSTITUTION: An installation part(20) installs the sub system(5) having an OS(Operating System) and the display part(50) independent to the main system(3), and transmits/receives data with the sub system. An installation detector(40) detects installation of the sub system through the installation part. A wireless transmitting/receiving part(26) transmits/receives the data with the sub system wirelessly. A selector(30) selects display of the data stored in the data storage(18) to the display part. A controller(28) provides the data stored in the data storage to one of the installation part or the wireless transmitting/receiving part depending on a detection result of the installation detector and the selection through the selector.
