PURPOSE: A fuse inspection apparatus and method thereof are provided to inspect a defect of a fuse without short circuit. CONSTITUTION: A fuse inspection apparatus and method thereof includes a battery(110), a body(120), a pair of rotating plates(130), a pair of contact knobs, an elastic member, an alarm generator, and a switch(170). The body mounts the detachable battery. Center portion of the rotating plates are hinged and arranged in parallel with each other such that the rotating plates, made of an insulating material, rotate in left and right direction on both ends of the body. Each of the conductive contact knobs is coupled with an end of the rotating plate, and is electrically coupled with electrodes of the battery. The elastic member is implemented between the rotating plates to apply an elastic force to the contact knobs. The alarm generator generates an alarm when the fuse is normal, when the contact knob contacts the electrodes of the fuse. The switch turns on and off a current from the battery.
