PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mold a vessel with a bent neck by biaxial orientation blowing. SOLUTION: A mouth part 7a of a preform 7 is fixed and a gate mark portion 7c of the bottom portion 7b thereof is held by an upper bottom tool 4. A spherical fore end face 8a of a stretching rod 8 is positioned a little above the mouth part 7a and the preform 7 is bent by sliding the upper bottom tool 4 along a guide rail 6, with low-pressure air applied. A bent portion 7d of the preform 7 is prevented from breaking, since it is bent in a state of being supported by the spherical fore end face 8a of the stretching rod 8. It is not creased either, since the low-pressure air is applied. Moreover, no lack in balance of the wall thickness is brought about in the course of bending, since bending is made as the preform 7 is stretched. A bottle with the bent neck is obtained by blowing high-pressure air into the preform 7 after the preform is bent in an appropriate state in this way. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
