PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the operating performance of a valve element by preventing a center core from being radially displaced from the peripheral wall of a casing. SOLUTION: In this solenoid valve, a flange part 25 at one end of the center core 18 is brought into contact with the inner bottom wall 23 of a casing 17, and the contact part is used as a magnetic path for magnetic fluxes generated from an electromagnetic coil 20. A projected part 24 is formed on the bottom wall 23 of the casing 17, and the center core 18 is formed such that the flange part 25 is formed integrally with one end of a cylindrical wall 26. The lower end of the cylindrical wall 26 of the center core 18 is fitted to the projected part 24 of the bottom wall 23 and the cylindrical wall and the bottom wall are positioned each other. By this configuration, the center core 18 can be prevented from bing displaced, and the cross section of the magnetic path can be increased by the fitted contact portion. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
